Recently, the winners of the "2019 China Textile Industry Patent Award" sponsored by the China National Textile and Apparel Council were released. The patent "The method of producing a Composite Core Sewing Thread" by Hubei Fengshu Thread Manufacturing Co., Ltd. won this precious award.

This patent was jointly developed by Wuhan Textile University and Hubei Fengshu Thread Manufacturing Co., Ltd. The patent technology solved the key and common problems of high-speed sewing at the current stage. When the polyester sewing thread is sewing at high speed, a large amount of heat is generated on the needle due to the friction between the needle and the fabric, the temperature of the needle is raised, especially at the time of high-speed sewing, the polyester sewing thread is easily melted, and the needle eye is blocked, resulting in the sewing thread fracturing. This patent overcomes the deficiencies of current technology and the sewing speed is thus further improved.

In order to implement the patent of the composite core sewing thread, the company has transformed the existing production line and invested in the construction of two modern sewing thread production workshops. The company has obtained a number of patents related to sewing thread and performance yarn. Fengshu is a high-tech enterprise certified by the Science and Technology Department of Hubei Province. It has many leading R&D platforms such as Hubei Sewing Thread Engineering Technology Research Center and Hubei Fengshu Thread research and development platform, "Key Technology of Ultra High Strength, High Brightness and Special Textiles" has won the third prize of science and technology twice.
